At the Romney Election Night Party

Southfield, MI–

The early results look good for Governor Romney and the the crowd is pumped at the “victory party” here shouting “We want Mitt!” as the early results come in and Michigan GOP officials are walking around talking to both the media and supporters as though it is over and Romney has it in the bag.

The campaign is telling me that Governor Romney was a “rookie” when he started the race. He is a “10 times better candidate now than he was 5 months ago.. .Everyday he grows in the job of being a candidate.”

The camp is saying if he wins in his home state tonight it is because:

“Bottom line people started listening to his message of vision, optimism, and experience.”

Don’t expect the presidential hopeful to take the stage before 9pm because there are some precincts in the state that are in the Central Time Zone and are currently still open.

Reporting from Jake Gibson, Carl Cameron, and Shushannah Walshe from the Romney party.

I’m not sure where to insert this comment, but I would just like to say that I have been surprised how difficult it has been for Fox to hide it’s bias against Mitt Romney. Does every man feel threatened by Mitt Romney? I thought it was just the other candidates, but your envy is all so obvious. Sean Hannity has been the only pundit who seems to favor Mitt Romney and not feel threatened by him. Thank you Sean for your positive comments.

Surely you’re kidding. With the exception of O’Reilly, every Fox anchor is like a Mitt cheerleader. Hannity is the worst, but Cavuto and the rest have their pom-poms out.

Go Mitt!
McCain has been a senator forever. What has he done lately? He tried to ram his McCain Kennedy bill down the throats of the American People against their will not once but twice. He has done nothing but pander to lobbyists, big business, and special interest. Yes he was a POW and deserves respect for that. Pity is no reason to keep a loser in office. Romney got the message loud and clear the government is broken. It really is time to clean house. More of the same old people in different chairs is not going to change anything.

ANGELA:

yea right and Hannithy claims he is a conservative. What a joke. I wonder if he knows that Bishop Mormon Romney doesn’t even believe that the Catholics have eternal life. I wonder if anyone realizes that the Mormon church while using the right buzz words about the Bible, God, Jesus, etc., acts like a conservative. But that claim coudn’t be farther from the truth. They are Mormon and they use the Mormon Bible which was written by Joseph Smith who teaches clearly that men can become gods on this earth. That Jesus was only placed out ther in favor by God because he was the firstborn human male! Yes, that is what they believe without question. Plus, it is far worse than that. I do not want a man for President that thinks he can be a god on this earth. That is not the conservative message. This man is full of hot air. Don’t tell me you were convinced by Romney’s faith speech either. It does matter to us what religion a candidate has. Are we honestly ready for a Muslim President? No, I didn’t think so. Well buckle up because the Mormon church is worse and in fact has some teachings of the Muslim faith. The difference, the Mormons fell they can be gods on earth. Read Mormon leader, Joseph Smith’s King Follett Discourse and wake-up America.

I am going to change stations if they continue. They show their ignornance in understanding the dangers in religion by not understanding what is a cult. They think using the buzz words of the conservative christian faith is enough to make you Christian. I guess that means they deserve what they get. Romney is a Bishop in a Cult church. OMG. All they have to do is read Joseph Smith’s Mormon Bible of his King Follett Discourse. But NOOOOO. we hear buzz words and think “Christian”. Sad. I am moving out of America if Romney is elected.

Demi,
You can’t be serious with that hate filled garbage you are spewing. I live in Canada, far removed from what is going on down there. My arms length view of politics takes some of the emotion out of it. Romney is by far the best Republican candidate out there if you want to stop the bleeding in Washington. Everything he has touched has turned to gold and you can’t give one example of his leadership being influenced one iota by his religion (apart from being honest, hard working and showing complete fidelity to his family).

I have studied the “Mormon” religion at length and know many members of that church. They are not a cult… if anything we need more of them. They are hard working, kind people who are an asset to any community. Stop your bigotry and try to be a little more Christlike in your attitudes.

Go Mitt. We are cheering for you up here in Canada.

Angela-You are obviously new to this site. Fox embed Shushannah Walshe has been writing and reporting on Mitt Romney for months. She is informative and unbiased. I suggest you follow her blog, you will be impressed.

Dear Angela and Ted,
You have it all wrong about the Mormons. What you written about are the old anti-mormon lies and distortions that have been promoted for over 100 years. Even your references of what a reader should do to find out for himself don’t make since . . . which leads me to my final statement: You only know what you’ve been told. And what you’ve been told is a lie. (Oh and one more thing before I turn the other cheek . . . to spew that same ‘ol slop mingled with half truths and lies for the purpose of advancing your agenda makes you a bigot!)

Dear Angela and Ted,
My mistake. Please accept my apologies.
Both comments were addressed to you posted by Demi.

Demi, I hold no ill will toward you. You are simply ignorant of Mormon beliefs.
Don’t you know any active practicing Mormons?
Ask them your questions.
Believe me it will not be offensive if you ask wanting to know the facts.
I promise you will have a more settled feeling and view of our values regarding strong families, morality, honesty . . . and so forth.

Those religious bigots hiding behind fake screen names on the internet have tactics no different than the Ku Klux Klan did hiding their heads under white sheets. They don’t feel whole unless they have someone to step on and they are no “Christians,” as we can tell by their hateful, dishonest fruits. It is just dredging up the ugliest side of politics America has seen because they are ugly. IGNORE.

Here are my two cents:
1.What are their fruits.(Matt 7:16)
2.Do they confess that Jesus has come in the flesh.(1 John4:2,3)
3.Are they for or against Jesus.(Mark 9:40.41)
4.Jesus loves them too (John 3:16)
