Clinton Blames Obama Campaign for Distorting MLK Comments

Hillary Clinton accused the Obama campaign of “deliberately [trying] to mislead” the American people by distorting her comments on Barack Obama and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Calling the commentary about her remarks “baseless and divisive,” Clinton said “I was disturbed by it. I think it clearly came from Senator Obama’s campaign, and I don’t think it’s the kind of debate we should be having.”

“I was personally offended at the approach taken, that was not only misleading but unnecessarily hurtful and I’ve made that clear to many people in the last several days,” she said.

In an interview with Major Garrett in New Hampshire last week, Clinton criticized the analogy Obama had drawn between his own hopeful campaign and the words of Dr King — saying “I would point to the fact that Dr King’s dream began to be realized when President Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act… That dream became a reality, the power of that dream became real in people’s lives because we had a president who said we were going to do it, and actually got it accomplished.”

That remark angered many in the African-American community, including South Carolina congressman Jim Clyburn — who said “it bothered me a great deal.” Clyburn told the New York Times “It is one thing to run a campaign and be respectful of everyone’s motives and actions, and it is something else to denigrate those.”

Clinton said she’s talked to Clyburn to explain her remarks, and that the influential lawmaker will stay neutral in the South Carolina primary.

Take a look at Clinton addressing the controversy surrounding her words below.

Isn’t this the same HAG who used her Campaign to claim that Obama is a Muslim, to remind voters that his middle name is Hussein and to “suggest” that he might have been a Drug Dealer back in his “shuck’n and jiv’n” days? Hillary is such a damned two-faced PHONEY!

Comment by Cheryl

Obama did not put the words in her mouth. He did not hold a gun to her head. She made those marks on her own free will. She thought the AFrican American community would give her a free pass. Her and Bill thought they had a hold on the African American Community and we would like them distort history. They found out they were wrong and the African American community will not let that happen.

Now she is trying to blame Obama. Obama has not even commented on this issue. People are beginning to see Hillary for who she truly is.

Is there no end to HRC’s madness? She really not is as bright as she is given credit for, and even in this interview, she continues to insult African Americans. How dare her even imply that the outrage over her appauling comments were a product of some sort of crafting or engineering of the Obama Campaign. People who love the life’s work of Martin Luther King were GENUINELY ouraged and they did not need any campaigner to tell them to be that way. I saw the interview when it happened and was in shock at her comments and the Obama campaign had not even addressed.

She is one slippery character who just doesn’t get it. Her lack of ability to discern genuine outrage speaks to her judgement(or lack thereof), and it is sadly lacking. To try and blame the Obama campaign for HER OWN gaffe will surely backfire on her. who is running this sinking ship?

We now have Youtube. Readers should play the video of Hillary when she made the comment in NH, hear what was said, and judge whether the comments were appropriate. My judgment is as follows:
1. Hillary was desperate before the NH vote. She and Bill threw the whole kitchen sink to Obama with “false hopes” and “fairy tale.” The MLK comment was meant to emphasize that Obama has “false hopes.” I was shocked to hear her comments played by MSNBC and knew then that she has insulted the American people, not only Africian Americans. From that moment on, she lost the minimal integrity that I thought she had.

2. Surprisingly, Hill and Bill’s attach tactics (fear and tear; trash and crash) succeeded in NH. Obama made a rookie mistake of not responding to swiftboating forcefully and swiftly. Now they need to look forward and need damage control.

3. How to control for their damage? They turn to Obama as if they were victims of their own mistakes. They are swiftboating again, trying to picture the opponents’ truth strength into appeared weakness in the public’s eyes. Unbelievable, but these are the Clintons. They thing American people are dumb.

I’d like some fact-checker to actually show me where senator Clinton herself claimed Barak Obama is a Muslim or implied he may have been a drug dealer. I believe the person who is credited with those remarks was summarily dismissed from her campaign. The latter shows character.

I used to support Hillary, but I have lost all respect for her. Someone else is always to blame for the Clintons’ mistakes. Obama did not put those words in your mouth and he has not even commented on this.

I am a white woman and even I was offended by what she said on MLK. It’s an insult to every American.

Vote Obama 08!~

Comment by Michael

Well, Clinton is right.
If you hear her comments, she stated that Martin Luther King jr had a dream and he HELPED that dream to be accomplished, but much of that can be accredited to President Johnson.

She is right. Dreams are dreams, but you have to take action ON those dreams to get them accomplished. MLK started a movement. But, if Johnson hadn’t enacted upon that movement and made all those civil rights changes, would we still be in the same America?

Credit is needed to both Johnson and King.

And the commenter aobut “CLinton’s thinking american people are dumb” is wrong.
By explaining it that contextually, she believed you guys listened to history and reason and actual sense. Instead, you listen to biased judgment and fanboyism. She’s wrong. Most Americans ARE dumb.

HRC is the one living in her own fairy tale. The scary thing is that people may buy into the garbage she is speaking. I am waiting to see the Obama camp fire back. Stand for change we can believe in. Can we believe in Senator Clinton, I believe the answer is no.

OBama is pushing and spinning this. As a former campaign precint manager, I am appalled as my own peers are pushing this “Clinton racist” story on words that are taken out of context.

Hillary has my vote.

I just realized how wrong I was to support Obama at all and view anyone else who still does, in the same light.

Comment by mikel

The New York Times is starting to have a bad reputation; it is allowing reporters and columnists to edit Hillary Clinton’s comments and then bash her based on that edited version.

The FACT is that although Martin Luther King was extremely active in the Civil Rights cause during the President Kennedy years, Kennedy was never able to move the stalled civil rights legislation through Congress. After Kennedy was assassinated and Lyndon Johnson became president, LBJ used his knowledge of how to get things done in the Congress (where he had served as a powerful leader in both the House and senate) along with the emotion built up by the murder of Kennedy to get the historic Civil Rights bill passed and the voting rights bill passed the following year.

At the time LBJ signed the long-desired Civil Rights bill, he remarked that he had lost the South to the Democratic party for at least the next 25 years — and that prediction turned out to be true.

Not only that, but LBJ’s skill and courage in pushing and then signing that legislation led to a lot of hatred toward him that smolders still. Today, most younger people know only that LBJ is reviled for his Vietnam war failures, but few know how skillfully he worked to get the Civil Rights and voting rights legislation passed.

Of course, it was the courage and bravery and leadership skill of Dr. King and his colleagues plus the activism of this nation’s black population that created the national awareness that something had to be done to protect blacks and make it possible for them to enjoy the promise of America’s Constitutionally-guaranteed rights. but Dr. King was not in Congress and had no way to write or pass legislation and had to persuade those who were in legislative office to do the right thing. For years, those in Congress did not get the legislation passed. LBJ did get the legislation moving successfully through Congress, using his celebrated strong-arm methods when necessary and his persuasive skills when possible. Maybe another president might have been able to get the job done, but the fact is that none of them did — until LBJ did.

That takes NOTHING away from Dr. King’s historic leadership and courage; it merely states that Congress had to pass the legislation and the president had to sign it to make Dr. King’s courageous efforts result in laws.

When President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation freeing the slaves in the rebellious states, he was NOT the only one who had worked to end slavery, yet I don’t see anyone talking about that. Many white and black abolitionists died in the cause of freeing the slaves yet no one says it is disrespectful to THEIR contribution to recognize what Lincoln did.

So, why are extremists, today, saying it is disrespectful toward Dr. King to say that LBJ got the Civil Rights and voting rights bills moving successfully through Congress (where they had been stalled for years) and then signed that legislation turning Dr. King’s dream into reality?

It takes nothing from Dr. King anymore than saying Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation takes credit away from those earlier martyrs.

As far as I know The NYTimes has YET to publish Hillary Clinton’s full statement — in the print edition — and persists in allowing reporters to bash her based on the “skillfully”-edited version that suits their agenda better.

Shame on all the reporters and pundits who do the same editing and bashing.

Hillary’s feelings have been “hurt” again. We don’t want her to cry.

Clinton made those comments before the NH primaries. She should stand up and acknowledge that she made those degenerating statements.

It is amazing that the Clintons think that american people are stupid and they can get away with anything. They are relying on the votes of stupid people and sexis. It is very disturbing that people fall for this. Clinton supporters want to set this country backwards and turn this democracy into a monarchy.

Hilary Clinton is fake, insincere, desperate and greedy. Her lust for power will ruin this country.

Does anyone recall Senator Obama saying that he was “hurt” by all of the globs of dirt thrown at him by direct employees & agents on behalf of the Clinton campaign before Iowa & NH - e.g. Billy Shaheen (a former U.S. Attorney & First Husband of NH’s first female governor, Jean Shaheen, head couple of NH’s democratic party) saying the Republicans may infer that Obama was a coke dealer in his teens - for which there has never been any evidence - a guy who was hardly a low-level campaign official; or when Senator Bob Kerrey misled everyone by saying that Obama was raised Muslim. The Clintons are having a hard time, it seems, when hardballs are thrown their way now. Did they really think that wasn’t going to happen? I’m so tired of HRC playing both sides of the gender card: i.e. when folks say she is shrewish or shrill (which she is) she says that “if I were a man, people wouldn’t say that” AND whenever her opponents & others throw hardballs her way, her feelings “are hurt.” As a Baby Boomer woman, I am daily offended by her gender politics - problem is that they are working with lots of naive & sympathetic women (young & old). There is a real possibility that the next president of the United States could be elected based upon a massive sympathy & gender ploy, and that makes me absolutely ill.

Comment by kleantuns

where i come from we have a proverb that goes like this, “a child screams and cries after peeing directly into his own face,” as if somebody else is responsible. In this campaign the Clintons have shamelesssly opened their dirty-desperate and power-hungry mouths. hurling anything and everything at Obama to tip the Democrat-scale to their favour. and in the process they have, as it were, peed into their own faces. they (both Bill and Hillary) have entangled themselves and now they are struggling to “free” to the public and the black community. and now they are blaming Obama for their own shit! im sure a candidate like Hillary with a record - 38 years of experience, would do better than this!
The Clintons are clinically examining a life of a Honest man - Obama, turning every stone. They have defined his name, checked his kindies’ workbook, been to the countries he has been too. Finding nothing, now they are turning to racism. what a shame! Hoped that Bill wouldnt go that far for his wife. he is going so low. he is getting his hands, feet and tongue dirty cos this time he wants to be crowned as the “First man”. But if Obama put their public and private lifes under scrutiny, would they come out “clean”? The Clintons’ weak moral leadership, which they now boast as their “experience” is a public disgrace. and if they had any sense and descency left, they should be weary of these realities. when finally obama is inaugurated the 42th President - the clintons woud have lost both their credibility and dignity (for acting shamelessy)!

I don’t understand why people are even arguing this. There is a war going on. And our country has so much poverty that most people can’t fathom. Why are we trying to make this a racial, thing?America is a melting pot of human beings. LETS GET TO THE REAL ISSUES PLEASE!

Comment by jean

One other comment - Clinton’s remarks re: MLK & LBJ illustrate her total lack of sensitivity. Calling King “the dreamer” (as the Clintons are casting Obama these days), and calling Pres. Johnson “the doer” (with whom she would identify as president). What an abomination — clearly if someone like MLK could have been elected president of the United States in the 1960’s this country would not have had to rely on a white southern president, who did - in the wake of the JFK assassination - take up the Kennedy civil rights cause & help enact the Civil Rights Act. MLK would never have been elected president; but parts of MLK’s “dream” then may be placed into “reality” now by an actual half-African American president. What an opportunity we have. Besides, MLK did much more than “dream” - he offered his life as a sacrifice for that dream (the ultimate “action”).

Comment by jean

Response to kleantons - I agree. And I remain proud of the Obama campaign for not airing the Clintons’ dirty laundry in response to all of this — The Obama campaign is fairly entitled to defend itself when the Clintons attack. I have yet to see the Obama campaign go on the direct attack.

Response to Jessica - I agree. My impression is that Edwards & Obama have tried to stay “on message.” But they have a problem - the Clinton campaign continues to veer off into irrelevant gender issues, attack criticisms, and character questions of Obama, in particular. You really can’t expect him to take all of that “laying down.” No one should be surprised. The Clinton tactics have been shown statistically to work with voters. Sad, but true. If the majority of the electorate in this country continue to be so easily influenced, and led like sheep by non-issue related campaiging & attacks, then the candidates will continue to engage in that, and we will continue to have presidents who do not have the good will of this country at heart, but have the preservation of their own power base as their primary objective.

Comment by Ex-Obama supporter,

Barack Obama never said anything about her racist comment. He has not even commented on this issue until today. Hillary Clinton is trying to blame this issue on Barack, but when in fact the reason why this issue got out of hand is because of a larage majority of the black community that was appauled by Hillary Clinton’s comments. Also, I really don’t think that you were really a supporter of Barack because real supporters know that Barack has mastered the ability to not bring race up as an issue. Please don’t listen to this woman and her lies.

Poor Poor Hill Billary,

Do you honestly believe you are so hurt by the politics of lobbing the first race card bomb at Obama’s camp…that he would throw it right back at you? Bill was never the first black president….and neither shall you be. Obama has the chance to really become the first one. He is not the insider of old like you are. Why don’t you go back to the party and drink a few more with Sid and smoke a few cigars with Bill. Oh, ensure the Secret Service keeps short leash on him… you never know when or where he will find a campaign intern with a blue dress. Please don’t shed a tear when this tact fails you. We’re looking for it now.

Obama is being the adult of the race. Hillary, the Clinton she is, makes a mistake and the first person she seeks to cast blame on is her enemy. . What will she do when her Hillcare Health Care doesn’t go as planned? Blame the Republicans! Now do a quick rewind with Obama in the White House…..imagine how much faster and how much more peaceful America will be on the road to Universal Health Care? If this poor showing of character is any indicator of how Hillary Clinton will conduct herself in the White House if she should win, the prospect of change looks dim. This is why I will work to the ends of the earth to help get Obama elected! ***watery eyes*** I don’t want to see this country fall behind. Obama 08!

Comment by Justin Michael

I wonder how long the media is going to continue to give Hillary a free pass on this. Since losing Iowa she and her husband have consistently employed dirty tactics to attack Sen. Obama while his camp has taken the high road and generally refused to respond in kind. He has repeatedly stated that all the candidates are patriots while Hillary’s has invoked the failed terrorist attack in France to imply that the nation may be more vulnerable to terrorist attack if Obama is elected. These are Rovian tactics.

We saw it again today on Meet The Press. Rather than simply respond directly to or apologize for the alarming pattern of subtle racially motivated attacks hurled at Sen. Obama (speculating an implied a drug dealing past may be exploited by the Republicans, Andrew Cuomo’s Shuckin’& Jivin’ remark, Pres. Clinton referring to Sen. Obama as a ‘kid’, Clinton folks stating that voting for Obama would be akin to supporting a ‘hip Black friend’, condescendingly referring to Sen. Obama as a good speaker), she instead decided to insist that the Obama campaign is responsible for all of this.

Hillary’s implication that the outrage the African American community has voiced regarding the racially charged remarks of her campaign is some sort of manifestation of an Obama campaign strategy is almost just as insulting as her recent comments. It is as if the Clinton campaign believes African Americans are not able to think for themselves and can only take cues and do what they’re told rather than think independently.
Whatever happened to personal accountability? Just apologize for the gaffs and move forward. No matter who you prefer in this race I think we can all agree that Americans are tired of leaders who refuse to accept responsibility for their actions. Hillary’s recent posturing and stubbornness to admit wrongdoing is eerily similar to that of George W. Bush. No wonder Karl Rove seems to be endorsing her candidacy.

John Lewis, an incredible, peaceful, respected politician and Civil Rights leader endoreses Hillary Clinton. John Lewis was a member of the Original Freedom Riders. He was arrested in Mississppi in 1961 for attempting to use a “White’s Only” restroom and served 37 days in jail for his actions of civil obedience in his attempt to foster equality amoung men. John Lewis personally knew Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. John Lewis supports Hillary Clinton, and it sure the hell isn’t because Hillary is a racist. These people claiming Hillary is a racist ought to get an education and talk to LIVING Civil Rights leaders who will set the record straight. The Clinton’s have never been and will never be racist. The fact that Obama even would suggest the Clinton’s are racist shows me two things: !. He is spitting on Dr. King’s dream that we live in a non-racist world by continuing to make race an issue and 2. Obama clearly has not set down and talked to Mr. John Lewis, who was physically beaten in his fight for civil rights. Obama and his camp need to back off the race issue. Educated black people will not tolerate this race insult from Obama. I also suggest everyone read John Lewis’ book. Hillary read it. You should too.

I am done. Hillary Clinton, at this point, is as vile as George Bush. I am an African American and I promise that I will NEVER EVER vote for Hillary Clinton. I will convince ALL of my friends to never ever vote for Hillary Clinton.

My issue is not with the original statement itself. But the gaul, she has to politicize the issue. When you say somethings as potentially hurtful to undermine that Civil Rights Movement, you don’t get to go on talk shows and defend yourself. NO! You say I am sorry and move on. She is not a good person. She would try to gain politically from this!! I have said my peace. I will never ever vote for Hillary.

Comment by Don Slowik

I feel that the power of the Presidency lies in the ability to lead the Citizenry to become an overwhelming force to pass new legislation through Congress(despite the competing force of big money influence there). Thus we need a President who is a great leader and who avoids creating divisions. Divisions allow big money to have control; the status quo for past decades. I feel Barack Obama is a great leader and is less divisive than Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Comment by Pete A.

I was working abroad for much of the Bill Clinton years and did not follow the Clintons too much. I believed at the time Bill merely dissembled about his sex life, a personal matter, but was generally honest. Now I realize I was wrong. Now I see clearly that both Clintons are dishonest to the core, driven only by self-serving ambition.

They have completely distorted Obama’s record.

While I vowed never to vote for a Republican again, I now can understand why they hate the Clintons so much. (But I still don’t understand why they don’t hate the Rove/Bush administration even more.)

Comment by Thinking People

Why are we turning this whole thing into a big RACE issue?? Can you see that is what the media wants to sell their papers and to push their own agenda. Please stop and let us listen to the real issues. We have a choose a president on the issues. The truth is that none of these people want to help us and care for us that much. They want to be president and will push their strategy to make it happen. Dont be fooled. We have to choose based on the least hit to us and our economy. There is no getting away from it. They talk a lot of change and hope but in the end they have to work with a two other large group of lawmakers so they know that they cant do any change to the capacity that they are talking about. DONT BE FOOLED…DONT VOTE ON CHARISMA or LIKEABILITY and stuff like that. We will be very disappointed if we do this. Dont let them divide us. This is the only time that we have some strength and some say in the process. So dont let the candidates and the media control. Study the issues for yourself……

Comment by Mark C. Eades

In the bipartisan battle of “experience” vs. “change,” one thing seems clear: There is no shortage of experience in Washington. If Washington experience came in dozens, it would be a dime a dozen. Washington experience is what led us into the foreign and domestic mess we’re in today. What we are short of in Washington is fresh ideas and unifying vision. Put a president with these in the White House, and all that Washington experience can be put to work taking America in a new direction. This is why I support Barack Obama for president.

AnEducatedResponse,

Obama has spit on nothing, but your candidate has sank to a new low. I voted for Bill Clinton twice and I almost cried when I heard his remarks about Obama. How could I have voted twice for a man with so much hatred and such a sense of entitlement? I will never make the same mistake. They have no place in the White House; the country is trying to move past them to a better place but they are determined to push us backwards. John Lewis was a great man but like some leaders of the civil rights movement, he has pushed aside true progressive politics for loyalty and/or friendship. I can appreciate this because we all have friends we want to remain loyal toward; however this loyalty and friendship can run counter to moving our country forward. Bill and Hillary may not be racist, but they have and will continue to put aside the hopes, dreams, and needs of black Americans when it runs counter to their personal ambitions. Bill Clinton is a bastard for using his position as an ex-president to denigrate the ambitions of Obama. Hillary is a stupid c**t; one for staying married to Bill after he was f**king around in the White House with an intern; two for her votes on Iraq and Iran. You may want people like these back in the White House but I certainly don’t and they will have to do WITHOUT my vote. Successful black Americans have worked too hard to have to put up with s**t like this from people who claim to be our advocates.

There were a few people who understood what Hillary was originally trying to say. Read Michael, Mikel and An Educated Response. Hillary was just stating that it takes people with dreams AND people with political power to make real changes. Her only mistake in the second speech is that she blamed the Obama campaign when the media itself that their twisted hand in it.

To Trang: What is Obama going to put in action? I wish he had more substance in his speeches. Let’s face it, how long has he been in politics? Four years?

To jean: Hillary has been getting more than her share of being attacked from all sides, including the sound of her voice and looks.

To Sidmore: … and the name callling, shame on you!

What a SURPISE Obama had something to say other than his usual “present” which has been his usual contribution to the great people of Illinois. Appears that Obama is on the cusp of shamelessly using Hillary’s remarks as a Race-trump card for his own political gain (what a surprise, maybe he picked that up from the Oprah Winfrey show). Results from Super Tuesday will illustrate to the American people that Obama has no business seeking the Democratic nomination, let alone run for President.

Shame on your weak soul, Hillary Clinton.

Bill and Hillrevisionary deserve each other for certain.

The people of the United States don’t any longer.

Most disheartening is how Billaryvision thinks the electorate is not hearing what they’ve said, and should believe what they are saying now.

Is Karl Rove working for HRC, or did she really fall for the tricks in KR’s stolen playbook?

And just how many Hillarybots are simply cutting and pasting their way through this page?

Face it folks, she came off as very combative. She could not defend her Iraq vote. In the manner of Rove, if you suck, make the other guy look like they suck more. Title of ‘the’ report was what???? And because the quotes of Bhillarevisionistas clearly back up their hidden racism, they will lose not only black support, but credibility with everyone.

She came off as being annoyed this ant was at her picnic, like Gore at that debate with Bush where Gore seemed annoyed he was on the stage with an undeserving intellectual lightweight.

Are we not tired of politicians giving us bulls*** like Bhillaryvisionista? Are there there that many people who want to do the same thing the same way and get the same result? Nafta. Monica.

Are we not tired of politicians who say they’ve been working for the public for 35 years who cannot explain how they got that number. Let’s google how long they’ve been in Chappaqua, shall we. Can we not add.

I just finished watching “Meet the Press” Sunday show w/Hilary. I will not vote for her. She spins off a lot of rhetoric of what she did and did not do compared to many others but mostly Obama. He himself has admitted to being a “younger” senator. At the same time I believe Senator Obama or Edwards are capable of leading this Country to a better position within the World. Remember way back when the Dems took over the house and all they were going to do?! The Clintons have run there course and I for one want a positive change in the Country NOT based on color or gender but REALITY.

Jeezus Pee Wee, people. I have to agree with the comments by mikel and Thinking People. Seems to me this is just another case of media spin and folks getting their undies in a wad over something they weren’t really paying attention to anyway.

[...] Lukewarm Reception by Aaron Bruns Maybe it’s because she’s been accused of diminishing the accomplishments of Martin Luther King, or maybe it’s because it was a dreary afternoon in New York, but Sen Hillary Clinton [...]

Hillary is the only one who THINKS she knows it all!! Most of us see that she is so very experienced that she should have “STAYED AT A HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS LAST NIGHT.”

It amazes me how divisive Hillary is, so much that almost every post in this discussion is an adamant anti-Hillary comment. Either they never would have voted for her or they would have but now won’t vote for her. When it comes right down to the time to cast your vote, will you remember that Hillary is certainly the most polarizing person (male, female, black, white, politician or not) in the United States. No matter how much democrat support she thinks she is getting, those who hate her will always outweigh those who love her. There is absolutely nobody on the planet over which she would get my vote — well, maybe except Rosie O’Donnell.

In my opinion, these comments only serve to lend credibility to the suggestion that HILLARY is the candidate who IS NOT electible. And she honestly believes she can convince us she is the only one who is. De-NIAL is not a river in Africa, and Hillary is lost in the depths of denial!!!

Why is it so difficult for some people to see that obama is trying to take credit for progress in this country for things he had nothing to do with. If he can distort reality then people will forget this well know fact and vote for. When is it going to finally become and issue that obama was raise in another country, not the USA. How blind can we be?

I find hilarious that everyone takes her comments about King’s dreams becoming reality as something than respectful and truthful.

She was honouring King and his dream and his dedication and anyone who can’t handle the truth that King was a not a god and could not do everything should get a life. He didn’t pass the bill or get it passed.

Johnson did. Deal with it. Grow up.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama came under fire Tuesday for saying that U.S. troops in Afghanistan are “just air-raiding villages and killing civilians.

“That is a very troubling remark on so many levels,” said Romney spokesman Kevin Madden. “Most importantly, it’s emblematic of Senator Obama’s lack of experience for the job of commander-in-chief. But it’s also an entirely inaccurate condemnation of the efforts of the men and women of the United States military who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

THIS IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH OBAMA! ALL AMERICANS SHOULD SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! HE IS SO UNAMERICAN, WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE SUPPORTING HIM? I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW. ARE YOU ALL RETARDED OR WHAT? ANYONE?
