Giuliani: “We have got plenty of money”
Coral Springs, FL — Rudy Giuliani today denied he was in dire fiscal straits, saying some staffers have volunteered to go without pay to “stretch out the money” for Florida.
“Some people volunteered to do it. We didn’t ask anyone to do it. Some people volunteered to do it cause they wanted to stretch out the money,” he said. “We have quite a bit of money. They wanted to make sure that we had even more money for the end of this situation in Florida so we could have-I guess enough on the air or whatever.”
Giuliani added, “We don’t have any debt we don’t have any liabilities of any kind. We have got a good deal of money in the bank. Probably more than just about any campaign. This was an effort to try to stretch dollars even further….we are probably one of the most fiscally conservative of the campaigns–certainly on the Republican side.”
Asked whether he will have enough cash to compete in the Feb. 5 primary states, Giuliani reiterated that his campaign strategy in Florida is all-in.
“We will have some (after Jan. 29) but frankly, you know, Florida is real important to us so we are gonna put–if not everything into Florida, almost everything,” Giuliani said.

And as a side note to Fox News, I have lost all respect for them as a competent news organization after excluding Dr. Paul from the NH debate, the postdebate interview in SC, and the ridiculous questions they gave him. Giuliani does not appear to be credible person. A man who was afraid to compete in Iowa and New Hampshire is not fit for the Presidency. He wants to take the back road from Florida onwards. Well, chances are that he will take the back road that will lead him to the high road of oblivion. And that will not necessarily be a bad thing.

We live in a global economy meaning what happens in the rest of the world impacts our way of life. Can you imagine what would happen if the nut case got into office and cut of all ties in the middle east. Well I will tell you what would happen, Iran and Islamists would control the worlds biggest oil supply, both of which are not too friendly to the US. Are any of you guys old enough to remember the gas shortage in the 70s. Gas prices sky rocketed, you could only get gas on certain days of the week. You had to wait on line for hours just to fill your tank.
I am sure your thinking to your self, “So what I can pay a little more at the pump.” Well I hate to tell you, it doesn’t end at the gas pump. Heating costs for your home will also sky-rocket, truck drivers will have to pay more to deliver goods, therefore causing manufactures increase the cost of the goods they sell. Farmers will have to increase the cost of of produce and beef because they will not be able to afford to operate machinery and run their farms. This will result in an increase of groceries at the supermarket Unless Ron Paul has developed some type of alternate fuel he would destroy this country, not to mention I have not heard one plan that he wants to implement to make things better. All he does is complain about the US doing everything wrong but provides no solutions.

I am excited by Rudy’s tax plan, and that is reason enough for me to vote for him.
I also read his comments on foreign policy and I think he is the best person to lead us in a strong policy that will protect the U.S.A.
I am particularly annoyed that the MSM does not cover the real issues, and trashes the Giuliani campaign at every opportunity.
