Obama rallies NJ in between fundraisers

Money is still pouring into the Obama campaign - despite the candidate’s New Hampshire loss. According to campaign manager David Plouffe, the campaign has raised $500,000 online since midnight. This is in addition to the $8 million the Obama campaign has raised so far this 8-day long year.

The candidate also hit Boston and New York today for a pair of fundraisers - according to Communications Director Robert Gibbs, the campaign had to cut off admission at the high dollar New York event because there were too many interested attendees.

Senator Obama hit February 5th (aka Tsunami Tuesday) state New Jersey today in between his two East Coast fundraisers, where he was greeted by a couple thousand voters inside the gymnasium at Saint Peter’s College in Jersey City. There were long lines of people who were turned away when the gym hit capacity - Obama told the crowd that some 2,000 were not able to get into the door.

The loud crowd treated the second place New Hampshire finisher with a hero’s welcome. Obama made the best of the disappointing loss. “I have to tell you that one of the useful things - and I told this to my staff yesterday - about yesterday was it reminds us that change isn’t easy,” he told the New Jersey crowd. “Change is always met by resistance by the status quo.” A young man in the crowd bellowed out, “Hillary Clinton is the status quo!”

Obama continued, “You know, there are people who are in power who don’t want to give it up. There are folks who are making money on the way things are working right now. It doesn’t make them bad people - it just means they don’t want a change.”

I would like to shed some light on Senator Hillary Clinton’s most recent victory over Senator Barack Obama in the N.H. primaries. Many people are still trying to figure out exactly what caused such an unexpected “comeback” for Senator Clinton after many leading national polls and news networks predicted an almost seemingly inevitable win for Senator Obama. The answer lies in the announcement of Senator Clinton’s remarkable gains of female voters. Why such a large support from women? A recent campaign rally of Senator Clinton’s contained an “unidentified” male heckler in the crowd holding a sign which read “IRON MY SHIRT” as he yelled the phrase repeatedly at Senator Clinton. At first glance, this image inspires emotions of outrage and anger, but after further scrutiny it should reveal something that I don’t believe most people are paying attention too, sexism scamming. First, when men want to boldly discriminate against women in such a public forum they would not use this statement. Males are more prone to use the phrases “GET IN THE KITCHEN, MAKE ME SOME FOOD, GET ME A BEER WOMAN, or their all time favorite A WOMAN’S PLACE IS IN THE KITCHEN BAREFEET AND PREGNANT”. In my honest opinion, only a woman who was trying to rally female anger and support towards overcoming a historically male driven society would use such a tactic. I think this male individual was placed in the audience by the Clinton campaign in order to envoke such a reaction from female voters. I believe the Clinton campaign may have just pulled off the biggest sexism scam in election history! If everyone in this country would stop scratching their heads in amazement at how she managed to rally such strong female support in a very short amount of time, you would realize the answer too. Thanks for listening.

Have you also considered that people are beginning to seriously analyse issues as they are discussed. Someone is trying to benefit from oratory,,. It may not just work.Let us be serious,we need meaningful change in America by tested leadership.
People must refrain from politics of hate.Analyse the issues, not oratory.
have listened to fiery speeches but I have yet to hear the substance.

This is the way isee it, before Bill gates appeared from no where who was the richist person in America? Whoever that was i am sure they did business in an old fashioned way. When Mr Gates came in to the picture, not only he introduced microsoft, he brought a new method of making money, quick, something unseen before his time, thus making him the untouchable. Mrs Clinton could be experienced, but there is this young, fresh and exciting voice in America today, which we haven’t herad for a long time. That voice is Obama. I See Mrs Clinton as the richest person in America before Mr Gates came to the bigger picture, Obama for me is the revolutionary making him the Bill Gates type of figure in politics.

What did Warren Buffet do last year, he donated most of his wealth to Gates’ foundation, why? because he know they will spend it wisely where it would provide help where it is most needed. If Mrs Clinton is worried about future of America, she should get out of the way for a new breed of leaders such as Senator Obama, whose leadership will most certainly give America a different direction.

Some Obama supporters probably thought it was in the bag, since polls had him so far ahead — so, they didn’t vote. I think it is a good thing FOR Obama that that happened. No one is going to take a win for granted any longer.

Anyway, Barack Hussein Obama does have a lot of mysterious past religeous history. It is a fact that he attended a radical Muslim school while he lived in Indonesia. He now attends a church in Chicago, go to http://www.tucc.org/about.htm. And it is a fact that he does not show respect for the flag of the country he hopes to be President of. He did not while a Muslim student in Indonesia, while a student at that private school kin Hawaii nor as a student in Law School and not one person can recall him showing respect for the flag while he was in the the state of Illinois. So what do we really know about him????

Shenequa - you’re lame lies are tied and old. I’m sure you posting this nonsense on other blogs under different names, but you are and your false claims are ridiculous. Obama did not go to a radical Muslim school, it was a normal public school in Indonesia - CNN and ABC both did specials debunking that trash. He does and has always showed respect to the American flag- the picture you are talking about was during the singing of the Star Spangle Banner, which you are not expected to cross your heart and face the flag- check out any sporting game. And all of the other crap you are spilling isn’t even worth defending. Wake up to a new America, without the hate!!

Hillary Clinton is the best candidate for the Democrats. It really looked like she was going to win but now she is going to get crushed. This is great news for Republicans, as we are now sure to get the next president again.

Tom Davie, you are dreaming to think the Democratics and independents are stupid enough to vote in another Republican President and Republican legislature again!

And if you were a true conservative you would be ashamed of a 4 Trillion Dollars added to the national debt, and growing. Need I say more.

Changing directions is a must.

Keep Hope Alive! Vote Barack Hussan Obama

Sorry, Tom I forgot to add Republicans that get too!

I am voting for Hillary Clinton because she has the experience, knowledge and the determination to “change” this country in a new, and better, direction.

What do we really know about Obama? There are so many questions and disagreements concerning his religous affiliation(s). I am concerned about the name, Barack “Hussein” Obama, and what and/or who that name represents. I just don’t believe this is the time to gamble on one candidate when there are other candidates just as, if not more, qualified to run this country. We have had 7 years of regret and pure hell with Bush and I am not willing to gamble on a candidate that could give us 4 more years of the samething. There is just something I do not trust about Obama, its that little hair that stands up on the back of your neck, telling you to “beware”. I had that same feeling with Bush.

Vote for Hillary ^^

I see that there is a lot of support and false tales about senator Obama. I believe he will be a strong pillar for change. he is the reason every other candidate is preaching chnge in some aspect. If we want a democratic president than I believe his is the best candidate. I love hillary and the Clinton’s like many others. She does have a lot of political experience and a lot of flaws in character that the republicans would love to pounce on. I feel barack Obama is a strong and inspirational candidate and regardless of his name and his color he can lead the US in a new and economically strong climate that we haven’t had since Mr. Clinton.

Vote Barack Obama!!!

Every republican and independent wants to run against hillary they feel they have a better shot against her and destroying her credibility.

Obama supporters are voting for a cult of a personality. Almost all supporters of his cannot site good or bad one experience that makes him ready for the presidency. He is all image and no substance. Chcek out his church, then his kenyan connection, his relationship to a arrested man Tony rezko, who by the way is going to trial Feb 26. Obama’s name has come up on the investigation. There is too many things that make me question who he is. Yet MSM are unwilling to tell the public nor does Obama discuss or deny this events or people.

His camp is asking for clinton to release her tax return. If he is going there then Obama will be killed on the Tony Rezko and other strange relationships of his.
