Too early for Voters?
Nashua, NH

Romney greeted only about 20 early risers going to work at BAE Systems this morning. The hoard of media made more than a few others go through the side trying to escape the cameras. The event was a short 10 minutes long and Romney wondered aloud after waiting for some hands to shake, “We need some voters.” The governor from the state next door introduced himself to at least three voters, “Hi. How are you? Mitt Romney,” before shaking their hands.
BAE Systems is a defense and aerospace company owned by a supporter of Romney’s who hosted a house party for him just 2 days ago. This is Romney’s second trip to BAE.
Romney was asked by Brian Wilson how he thought he did at last night’s forum. He answered, “that was great, that was great. I loved it.” He added, ” I had a great night last night.”
While some of his rivals hold rallies that are violating fire codes, Romney is instead trying to cover ground with a jam-packed schedule today. He is hoping to find more hands to shake at his next stop, Mary-Ann’s Diner in Derry.
Stop Two, 8AM
Derry, NH

Romney found a few more hands to shake at Mary Ann’s Diner. He went table to table greeting customers, signing autographs, and taking pictures with the mostly receptive crowd. He answered a health care question, but mostly glided from table to table.
At one stop he took a picture with a woman and seemed a bit startled when she put her arm all the way around him, squeezing the presidential hopeful tight. After the picture he shook her hand and said, “Stay Classy.”
A funny moment occurred when he shook hands with a man wearing an Obama T-shirt saying, “Hey Obama man. How are you doing this morning?” Romney walked away after the exchange and a young guy rolled back in the booth saying I missed him! The two laughed to themselves while finishing their breakfast.
Next on the schedule: Romney will address employees at the Timberland Headquarters in Stratham, NH.

It is never too early for voters on the day prior to the NH primary. It’s a balmy mid-40s here in the Northeast today, so weather is a plus not an excuse. Perhaps Mitt should stick to slick ads.
[...] response to Fox Blog’s question if Mitt Romney got up a bit too early to reach voters today — It is never too early for voters on the day prior to the NH primary. [...]
Mitt Romney did great during last nights debate. Clearly he is the one that the others see as a true threat down the road. Why else would they throw so many personal attacks? They know that with Romney’s finaces, mangement skills, and with his lead having the most delegates, he is still has a worthy chance of getting the nomination. Even if he comes in second in NH he still can get the nomination. Clearly he is the most presidental, and after last nights debate many independent voters felt the same way. Huckabee wears his religion on his sleeve and cannot reach out to voters like myself who find that out of bounds. McCain is a great advisor, but he is old blood and America needs fresh ideas, not the sam old Washington non-sense. My vote next Tuesday here in Michigan will be for Mitt Romney. If NH voters are smart and I believe they are they will also vote for Romney. Romney has the passion and the leadership to make this nation stronger. Great job in the debates! Romney isn’t going anywhere and it scares the McCain and Huckabee guys crazy! Frankly, it really scares the Democrats, and they would love nothing more than to see a McCain or a Huckabee recieving the nominatation. The Democrats understand that Romney stands for change and will give them a run for their money come November. Romney is still in this race.
Mitt Romney does not put on slick ads. This ads are confronting the issues of the American people today. Health Care, Immigration, Taxes, Education. He is sighting the differences between himself and the other candidates. This are not attack ads. Attack ads are the ones that McCain and Huckabee are making when it becomes personal. Like the slick ad Huckabee made pretending not to have an ad but calling the media together to say he had and ad against Governor Romney but that he was a nice guy and was pulling it out. Oh yea! he was being a nice guy why would he gather the media to report that he was being nice and showed them the ad. This is a sleazy person if you ask me. I hope the American People see through him as to what he really is.
Thanks for mentioning Gov. Romney’s Health Care plan. Hasn’t Sen. H. R. Clinton copied his Massachusetts plan?
More BIG government and BIG spending. Cutting Taxes + New Programs = More Debt. How about paying for the programs you want as you go and not leaving the tab to someone else? Where’s the fiscal responsibility? Gov. Romney is the BIG Spender (or is that spinner).
Romney destroyed his competition in the debate last night. He showed Huckabee and McCain for the liberals without any class that they are. He is leading in national polls, has tons of money donated to him to spend, has more delegates than any other candidate, and will soon be leading America. Go Mitt!
In response to his health care plan - he is NOT a big spender nor does he support big Government. If you listen to his healthcare plan he believes in the private sector handling healthcare - NOT government. This is VERY different from Sen. Clinton. Besides the fact that he supported healthcare reform in Massachusetts he didn’t do it by cutting taxes and then adding new programs which in your formula means more debt. (I must say it would if you did nothing else, but Romney has done many other things to help with this problem). Mitt cut spending in unneccessary programs and streamlined government so that not only did he cut taxes (a BIG plus), helped reform and get almost everyone in Massachusetts on healthcare (A HUGE success where the government has so far failed), and streamlined unnecessary programs - but he did all that and still ended up with a billion dollar rainy day fund and a huge surplus when he left office. That is very impressive and shows incredible fiscal responsibility. Your facts are completely unfounded and shows that you are listening to the democratic and media “echo chamber” of rhetoric.
LEO,
With all due respect, when you don’t have a clue what you are talking about, it’s best to keep your mouth shut!
Mitt is the best guy to go against Obama, Hilary, or John.
Mitt Romney is nothing more than a Used Car Salesman…. He is the epitomy of someone trying to be slick. His sincerety is lacking, and I feel like any minute he is going to offer me the $ 1000.00 undercoating package and the special $ 600.00 fabric stain proofing. His religion has nothing to do with it, and if he wants to blow all his money in this race, fine, it’s his money. The bottom line is he flip - flops more than a fish loose in the bottom of boat. Nice try Mr. Romney.
Mitt is a fantastic candidate and he can easily win when put up against Hillary or Obama. He is the most sincere out of any of them on either side. He never stutters’, fidgets or misspeaks because he is a man of real integrity and is confident in what he has to say, meaning he believes in him self and his ideas.
This just drives me crazy, when people call Mitt a flip-flopper (which is a person like John Kerry or Hillary and most other Democrats who say one thing then another then another and then back. Mitt has simply changed his belief from one thing to another; just as well as any intelligent people have done many times on many issues over our lifetimes.
Years ago I used to think abortion was fine if that’s what a woman wanted to do, I was also a Democrat back then, but thank God I came to realize that Abortion is not fine and it is wrong and I’ve been against it ever since, just as I have been a Republican ever since. That’s NOT called flip-flopping, It’s called growing, by being able to think and learn and then see where you went wrong and then change your way to what is right.
So anyone of you who wants to call Mitt a flip-flopper just because of his change of thought which led to a change of his heart on abortion then I would say you accusers are just as much a flip-flopper every time you change your mind on anything.
So please get the definitions of changing ones mind on a subject once or changing ones mind back and forth many times on the same subject, before you open your mouth and make yourself a fool in front of everyone…
Such rampant ignorance that people vomit out without a clue of what they are talking about and the MSM is just as bad, it just makes me want to vomit…
