Rudy says he represents “actual change”

Hudson, NH — With almost all of the Democratic and Republican candidates now competing to be the true agent of “change,” Rudy Giuliani today said he is the only candidate that represents “actual change.”

“Change, change, change, change, everybody is talking about change….the last four or five days the word change has been used more often than I have ever heard it,” Giuliani told about 100 attendees at a townhall meeting in the Granite State. “If you look at my 12 commitments, they represent change but they represent substance, not just a kind of feeling of change or a slogan of change but actual change.” (see video for more)

Finally, a candidate actually defines “change”.

Change of mind maybe!

The change Rudy represents is in changing the Republican Party into one that is just as liberal as the Democratic Party.

Sorry to sound like a Ron Paul guy, but why is Mayor Giuliani getting this free press? He finished behind Ron Paul in Iowa and will likely do so in NH, MI and SC. If Ron Paul is out then Rudy should be too. He ignores every state until Florida. Why? They like to hear about New York City.

Enough already!

I really liked Rudy’s point on the Fox Debate last night about ‘Change’. Not an exact quote, but a lot of things are a change, but not all are good changes. Raising taxes would not be a good change. Pulling out of the war would not be a good change.

He did an unbelievable job as the Mayor of NYC and US District Attorney and he has the numbers and facts behind him. He cut taxes, significantly reduced the number of people on welfare, crime rates were at all time lows when he was in office, lowered the unemployment rate, not to mention how well he handled 9/11. Rudy as a prove record.

Go Rudy!!!

Rudy is right about change. When did Fox News change from being fair and balanced?

Fox News has lost all credibility as a “fair and balanced” outfit. On the eve of the New Hampshire Primary, they excluded Ron Paul from the debate viewed throughout New Hampshire. Recent polls had Paul between 8-14% in New Hampshire (nationwide polls not being important for the New Hampshire vote), as high as 3rd, virtually tied (within the margin of error) with Rudy and Huckabee, and well ahead of Fred Thompson, all of whom were invited to the debate.

By excluding Ron Paul, they ensure that he will finish lower than he otherwise would have. After the fact, they will point to a poor performance as justification for excluding him. Perhaps there is a different reason? He is the only candidate that has spoken out against the war. That speculation is unimportant. What is important is that Fox is trying to affect the outcome of an election - totally unacceptable from a participant in the news media. Bias is bad, but manipulation is criminal.
