O’Reilly Drops in on Hillary
by Aaron Bruns
Sen Clinton may not be taking questions from the national media today, but our own Bill O’Reilly found a way around that — he stopped in to a Hillary Clinton event in Penacook, NH and had an audience member ask for him. The question was on Iraq, and Hillary answered it for the young female questioner, and for Mr No Spin himself. Take a look.

How come we don’t get to see the whole answer? I’ve heard Senator Clinton personally, here in NH, answer that question, and it takes a bit longer than the 18 seconds shown here. That after we see 15 seconds of Mr. O’Reilly–and could he look a bit more pompous and full of himself?
Glad he had time to make it from Penacook to Nashua in time to completely embarrass himself there. It’s about the candidates here in New Hampshire, Bill, not about you and your ego.
No spin zone indeed.
Breaking News:
The New Hampshire Republican Party just announced that it is withdrawing as a sponsor of Sunday’s primary debate on FOX because of the exclusion of two GOP presidential hopefuls, Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter.
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/01/05/granite-state-republicans-pull-debate-support/
Would have liked to have heard the entire answer….but, hasn’t General Petreaus already said we should be able to begin withdrawing troops this year?
Good Question and lousy answer, Hillery!
She is so full of herself and not at all President material….She is in way over her head and she is believing all the hype from the press….wait until the voters have their say in November.
RE: Obama
Obama… When he was campaigning before the vote, he spoke about working for all people and making America come together, and is the candidate for Change.
I was surprised to hear him say.{ Paraphrasing.} “We have come a long way from Selma Alabama and the back of the bus”… Words to that effect. Immediatly I got a sense he is not at all interested in the American People and change, but is still playing the race card. I was leaning towards him, but not anymore, I will vote for Romney..the only Candiate who has the leadership and brains to take on this job.
Huckabee is a nice man, and relates to people as a real down to earth person…Hey, so is George Bush..can’t get more real the George W.
Thanks, Nancy
OReilly is so arrogant and pompous its almost laughable. If he was any more full of himself he’d implode onto himself like Rosie claimed happened on 9/11. I would love to see him, Dick Morris and Ann Coulter have a 3 way lovefest…They so deserve each other.
Since Hillary Clinton answered Bill’s (and the young lady’s) question concerning her plan to remove troops from Iraq by stating she was going to ask her advisors for a plan, basically means she has no plan. It is so typical of her to side-step real meaningful questions.
As it stands right now, my wife, my three adult children and I will be voting for Huckabee. This is because of his stance on “Our” 2nd Amendment Right. A topic you never hear much about. If the 1st Amendment is ever questioned, the media and the ACLU go berserk. Yet speak about the equally important and given right of the 2nd Amendment, and the media and ACLU want to do away with it. There are over 90 million gun owners in this country that want our 2nd Amendment rights held intact and not misinterpreted in any manner other than how it is written. Those same owners have the power to vote in the individuals that will protect all of our constitutional rights and vote out those that oppose it. Not just the ones that favor the media, ACLU or politicians that want to disarm America.
My question is; why is the 2nd Amendment not considered one of the issues within the “You Decide” column on the Fox News website when you click on the candidates and the “Issues” tab? Let us not forget, the last time the Democrats tried to mess with the 2nd Amendment, they lost control of the House and the Senate.
C’mon on now Bob.
That video wasn’t taken by Bill O’. Do they have to show you her whole campaign speech? Let her pay for her commercials. Fox showed the whole thing earlier so why blame Bill for the short clip? Your liberal bias is showing sir.
Hillary is for Hillary only. She still wants socialized medicine. She has no ideas for this country of her own and only says what her advisors tell her to say after checking the polls. There isn’t a sincere bone in her body. She’d be an even worse President than Bill was.
By the way Greta sent me here!!
I was given Bill’s book”The O’Reilly Factor” for Christmas and I just finished it! I couldnt put it down. I don’t think Bill is pompus or full of himself but if he is what’s so wrong with that? At least he tells it as he see’s it. I too am catholic and throughly understand where he’s coming from and we would be so much better off if more news commentaters were like Bill. I just wish he and I were fishing buddies!!! Go get um Bill!! Thank you for showing us the kind of president Hillarywould make. And If you are ever out this way lets share a glass of wine!
Why does O’Reilly waste his time with Hillary Clinton ??
Bill, I hope you will have the body language analyzed. Keep up the great work!
Typical Hilliary side step, her answer was, if you listen carefully was… ( I have no plan but if I am elected the first thing I will do is have someone else make up a plan to bring troops home in 60 days ) what a profound well thought out plan… She must have struggled for months to come up with such a brilliant, forward thinking way to protect us all from radical Islam and the terrorism that they are spreading around the world… Great plan Hilliary..
I hope she first asks her advisors, chiefs, et al if this is a good idea before she starts with her 60 day plan–
I thought Hillary was rude to O’Reilly.
One of Hillary’s many problems is that she wants to be president of the liberal ideologues, NOT President of the UNITED States.
Hillary doesn’t want to be MY president. She wants me, and those like me, to go jump in the lake.
She’s too arrogant to understand what “polarizing” actually means…
FREE SUGGESTION TO HILLARY DIRECTLY FROM THE DEMOGRAPHIC SHE SEEKS TO REACH:
Please go talk to Bill on Fox. You will be speaking before throngs of Americans your message has thus far has failed to reach. We will campaign for Bill to be respectful and fair to you.
If you don’t visit Fox News, then you don’t live in my America. Because the America of my dreams is big enough for Fox News Channel - absolute agreement is NOT the benchmark of free speech!

MaryI am having problems also. Joyce
This is unreal! Hillary missed the moment to say ” Hi Bill, sorry there is not a candidate over on the republican side that is interesting enough to keep your attention but I am glad you have finally strayed over to the winning side!”
This was dirty pool and should Keith Obermann, Chris Matthews or any of the left leaning pundits done this to Romney, Huckabee or any other republican candidate they should all be hung out to dry. It just plain is not right and is very self serving!
No matter who you like in the election respect that they had the guts to get up and run for office. All of these people, both the dems and the republican candidates have put up rather then shut up so you have to respect that. With the limited amount of time they have now to hold such an event and stump for votes pulling a stunt like is shameful!…
Don’t think Bill O’ looked pompous or full of himself. If anything, he seemed a bit uncomfortable - after all he was in ‘enemy’ territory. While I may not agree with everything he says, I like and respect him. I believe he is an honorable man and is as fair and balanced as most of the commentators at Fox and certainly more than those at CNN.
I do agree with those who are angry and disappointed at the Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter exclusion from the primary on Fox. Although I am familiar with their platforms, I would have liked to hear what each had to contribute.
I came from Greta’s ~ Funny, I believe he crashed the party.
Hi Mary, Mine had to be re-entered also - first time ever. Maybe something is being changed??
WOW, talk about blind sided
Every single candidate needs to meet with the joint chief of staff, secretary of defense and security advisor’s to get the solders out of Iraq.
No candidate can just say on their first day of office as President the troops are coming home. You have to plan the safety of the troops to come home. Even if we leave behind every single piece of equipment in Iraq, the military would have to dispose of everything so it is not in the hands of the terrorist. It could take 6 months or more to safely bring everyone home.
We as the general public have no clue what it would take to get over 100,000 troops out of Iraq with just their personal belongings never mind, jeeps, tanks, guns, ammo, helicopters, hospitals, doctors, nurses, contractors and who knows what else is there.
You have to remember how long it took the military to originally get to Iraq and remember all those jeeps and equipment. What was easy, well realatively easy to get to Iraq is not the same now.
Also, it will be a little over a year before the next President is in office and who knows where our country will be as far as Iraq, or Pakistan or even Iran.
I can only pray that whoever the candidate is that becomes President meets with all advisors to get the troops home safely. Remember, the new President picks the staff so there needs to be good people in place for the President to work with.
Right now we haven’t got a clue, nor does any candidate know for sure what is happening within the White House. Every single one of the candidates are basically outside of the White House door only peeking in. Sure, there are Senators running but they aren’t privledge to every thing that is going down in the White House.
I don’t remember how long it took to bring the soldiers home from Vietnam. I remember when they could come home, but just don’t remember the timeframe and if all the equipment came home with them or stayed behind.
This question needs to be addressed to all candidates and every single candidate needs to answer it in depth, so the public can clearly hear what their plan is. If everyone of them has to meet with joint chiefs of staffs, secretary of defense and security advisors, then we all know they have the same plan.
Just think how you who thought this was a smooth move would have felt if Howard Dean had walked into a Huckabee event and stood there like he was looking down his nose at him. You would have been LIVID!!…So all I am saying is play fair on both sides!..Would you want any pundit who is clearly for one side over the other to walk into any event and have a question planted for him? Where is the honor in that?
There is a Presidential Debate on TV right now. Channel 7 here in Florida. It’s suppose to be with Republicans and Democrates. I don’t think they will be on stage together.

Good for you Bob in NH!!! I couldn’t agree with you more!! Bill O’Reilly needs to stuff his pie hole with something!
Hilary would promise anything right now. I think the woman would declare just about anything to be the president. Why? Because her life is that vacant.
Give Huckabee the Chuck-a-Bye!!
Put some new blood in for a change of pace. Someone NOT of the good ol boys network. Someone not white. Someone not experienced in the ways of what brought us to this horror.

Wow, that is a very sexist remark. What would you say about all the men regardless of color that are declaring things and in some cases the same things as the “woman”? Are their lives just as “vacant”?
sound bite, whats the rest of the answer and not very fair or balanced not to have at leat included it in the text.
What is this “GIVE ME A PLAN” ? This is the woman who “PRETENDS” she knows it all. I am amazed at her answer…I personally would never vote for her…her personallity turns me “off” and i am sure she would “turn-off” some country we need to be friends with…or…they would “charge” us more ,just to be an allied country of ours…No more Clintons, now or ever again…The “question was” GIVE US “YOUR” PLAN…She did not liston to the question , so if she got elected, would she liston to us the people???
I understand it, Hillary’s plan for troop withdrawal is to ask for a plan.
Yes Mary my information disappears.
I also think Hillary will put our country in danger.
By the way I really like Bill O’Reilly.
Watching the Republician debate on NBC, Channel 6 here.
The Democratic Debate follows the Republican Debate.
The best Debate I’ve heard yet.
Huckabee has really impressed me.
It seems to me he lets everyone bicker and then he cleans it up.
Would like to hear opinion from others.
She just comfirmed what I suspected, she doesn’t have a plan.
ummm, no plan…i didn’t hear many boos for o reilly, i actually saw a coupla ovations for him, funny how she thought he needed points for courage…she was abt the only one implying he was in enemy territory. yes, she was rude, and arrogant. she ain’t all that
I had to re-enter my information, too.
So, Hillary is good at solving problems, she said-Getting people seated and killing time. Um hmmm. I see. But getting our country taken care of seems like it goes way beyond the things that she has said.
It was wrong to exclude any candidates from the debate. They need to be given make up time or something.
I have the debate on, but was listening and not watching. I didn’t know it had started, and thought it was just interviews prior to the actual debate. I thought it starts at 8, and it’s only 7:44 here. They said that the Democratic debate is starting, so I guess I missed most of the Republican debate. At least, I missed seeing them, and wasn’t really listening to them, either.
Almost time for the British comedies and supper, but I guess the debates will be re-run, and I understand that Greta is going to be on at 9 tonight.
Bill O asked for Hillary’s plan, not who she would ask for a plan. At this point, she should be able to articulate the steps in her plan–how many, how, by when? If she weren’t so busy slinging mud (abortion just to get the female vote, when it’s not an issue here). It’s a waste of time, money, and effort! Re: healthcare, she still does not understand insureds vs. uninsureds, nor why the numbers are at 47 million. She still needs something of truth and relevance to criticize Obama on!
The 1/4 Rasmussen poll — Obama 37% vs. Clinton 27%. Perhaps this explains her increasing desperation?
Before you vote, consider what America got with the first Clinton co-Presidency:
• Abuse of the powers of the office of the President
• Granting Presidential pardons to buy Hillary’s election to the Senate. As a woman who made it on my own, Hillary’s need to ride Bill’s coattails and her sense of entitlement (as in “it’s my turn and Obama should wait his turn”) makes me doubt her capabilities.
• Hillary’s long-suffering marriage to Bill, enabling a lifetime of sexual trysts and trying to contain the Bimbo eruptions, gives me a President without the backbone to stand up to a man. Hillary claims to be tough enough to play with the boys when, in fact, she is unable to leave a cheating husband. How will she stand up to other male leaders who see this in “Mrs.” Clinton and walk all over her?
• Being married to a former President does not make one qualified to be President.
Hillary has less experience in elected office than Barack. She’s held elected office for one Senate term plus one year and has introduced no major legislation during that time. She showed us in the interview about Pakistani elections the extent of her foreign policy experience–she did not know what office the election was for or who was on the ballot! Is this the kind of experience we want in the Oval Office?
I am not a “Hillary hater;” I am an America lover. Please consider very carefully which candidate the Democratic Party puts on the ballot. The future of this country absolutely depends on it.
Bill O’Reilly shouldn’t have been at this event and his arrogant demeanor was shown truly on his face. There aren’t many Presidential candidates that are even willing to sit on the same stage as BO, regardless of their race or gender.
BO didn’t have enough b**ls to ask the question himself. That has to say something about BO and Hillary’s response to the audience saying : “you have to give him points for courage”. BO was in Democratic territory and he used a woman as a shield to ask a question.
I didn’t think that O’Reilly seemed rude or arrogant. If he said anything, I didn’t hear it. He just stood there. He just has a look about him-I think it may be his eyebrows-that give him that sort of lofty look.
Also, he was a teacher. My mother frequently told me, “Don’t use that school teacher voice on me!” when I was talking. You just develop a way of communicating that may sound rude, arrogant, mean, or whatever, to others, when it is not meant that way at all.
I like O’Reilly most of the time. I like Glen Beck, Lou Dobbs, too. Shep, Sean, and Geraldo. And Greta of course!
Not to advertise another station or anything, but I was reading Glen Beck’s website this afternoon. Hope he is well soon. Poor guy. Hate to hear of anyone being sick. I guess a lot of people will be with all this bad weather, and cold. Flu, etc. will be up.
BO didn’t say anything, he just stood there and his presence showed his demeanor.
WHAT? Bill O looked stuffed with himself. Did Hillary really get to answer that question? Was it edited…I guess I will hear what she has to say on ABC right now.
MOO President Bush’s question to the candidates was what beliefs would you run this country on…
Those who answered with believing the Constitution should not appear on Fox’s debate tomorrow. Fox has elimiinated candidates from their debate violating Constitutional beliefs. ABC really knew how to put on a first class debate…they had all candidates Repub. and Demo. on stage shaking hands and talking. I loved it.
Before his entrance, didn’t O’Really try to push his way through? And think on this: if it were Bush instead of Hillary, do you think instead of O’Really , Michael Moore would be allowed to even be present? You repugs keep forgeting that Bush never let any negatives at any of his rallys, or his “Town Meetings”. How soon you repugs forget. Sad.
‘ i’m gonna ask……..
Yeah. well good luck with that….
Bill Richardson is coming across very well in this debate. He is so correct, you have to end the war before you can even think about healthcare, education, immigration etc. etc. There is nothing wrong with experience, and I so agree with him.
Obama, he will start from scratch when he is President regarding Health Care. This mean he has no plan for healthcare. When you start from scratch it takes years to implement. Obama needs to fully present his plan.
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
George Santayana
I am sorry but Ms Clinton gives me the willies, she has forgotten the last war (Vietnam),
when politicians ran it long distance, she has forgottent the cost to the troops returning
to an America where noone cared, she has forgotten that vietnamization(or Iraqination)
rarely works, she has also failed to remember those scenes played out on TVs around
the world as Marines and Embassy staff left Saigon in April of 1975.
Ms Clinton has never answered a questioned yet that didn’t involve refering to some
advisor or such…Her leadership was gained leading who?
nuff said
All the candidates (Rep and Dem) haven’t remembered what happened with regards to Vietnam otherwise they would have mentioned it when presenting their plans to bring the troops back from Iraq. It’s not just Hillary, its all of them!
Every oneof the candidate at least on the dem side mentioned advisors, meeting the military, etc, etc. not just Hillary. You have no choice but to meet with everyone to design a strategy to get the troops home. My goodness!
Ms Clinton said she has 35 years of leadership experience…..Leading
Whom or What?
My comment on Mrs Clintons answer to withdrawling from Iraq, how does she know for sure that
the time will be right or is this just another none answer?
Cut-and-run Hillery makes no bones about her interest in catering to her left-of-sane supporters. The puppet strings are quite obvious every time her lips move. Does the puppet maintain any thoughts about the consequences? Of course not. Puppets have sawdust for brains and a nose that grows with every suspect word. With this candidate, there are strings attached.
How weird!
Fox goes bonkers that Clinton won’t answer questions.
Then they finally get to ask a question of Clinton at one of our famous New Hampshire q&a’s.
And what do WE get, as far as information?
A bunch of b-roll of BOR!!!
Seriously, Aaron, what kind of journalism is this?
Fox demands an answer.
SHOW THE ANSWER!
First of all I think it is funny that some of you think it was so horrible for Bill O to attend Mrs. Clinton’s rally or whatever that was. Why shouldn’t he be able to attend? How do you feel about all the debates being handled by liberal hosts? The Dems wouldn’t go on Fox and answer any questions or debate but its ok that the Republicans go on CNN, ABC and every other liberal station. Why don’t they have someone like Bill or Rush or Sean run a dem debate and have the dem candidates answer some important questions instead of all of those softball questions they get asked by the lib hosts.
As far as Barack Hussein Obama he really scares me because he really has no knowledge of foreign policy or any other policy. That is evident when he does ever get close to the subject although most of the time he just speaks of change change change. We just don’t know what his plans are, like Mrs. Clinton they both have to ask someone when they become President what they should do next. Thats is scary!
I think Bill O is a good man, he does so much for children and our great military. God Bless
oh yeah the reason Bill had to have a young woman ask the question is because Mrs. Clinton would never answer any questions from him. He has been trying for years for Mrs. Clinton to go on his show and answer questions, after all if you are running for President you should be able to be asked some tough questions. I guess she can’t do that!
Mrs. Martin, Bravo! I’ve been waiting for someone to make those points. “Give him points for courage” when she is not brave enough to go on Bill’s show and talk to him face to face! Yeah, she’s so scary, imagine Bill having the guts to walk into the same room as her. Good grief! How is she going to deal with Ahmanutjob or Hugo Chavez is she can’t face Bill? I applaud him for making her face him. She’s the one who looks foolish.
Furthermore, it’s very safe for her to say she wants to pull the troops out of Iraq within six months when that wouldn’t be until June of 2009! General Petraeus is pulling three brigades starting in the spring with more to follow as things continue to improve there. She’s making an empty promise that she has no intention of following through on. Like Rush says, once she gets to the Oval Office (God forbid) she will say she has new information, it’s too risky to pull out the troops, and the same people who said they want out “now” will kiss her feet for being so smart. It’s total pandering and it’s dishonest and despicable.
I find odd that everyone at FOX thinks that after the IA and NH primaries, the 2 candidates for President are pick.. These two states are smaller combined in population than almost all the other states alone that have yet to vote. Are there not 50 states in the USA ????
I fail to understand that these 2 small states reprsent ALL of america. They do not.
It is not responsible for the media to assume that after 2 primaries that it is over. I think they also discount that this will be a HUGE election, unlike most in our history , as people are sick and tired of the Norm. The candidate that will honestly change out course , remains to be seen.I don’t think the can comppare this election with past ones. After 8 years of getting the shaft by the Bush Amin, the American people are going to take this country back
THERE ARE 48 OTHER STATES left to choose.
I also find it odd that nobody is mentioning Michael Bloomberg. He has stated recently and clearly that if the candidates are Obama and anyone on the other side, He will run as an indpendant. He said in reports that he is already gathering his team. Dont discount him entering , and that he will spend a BILLION dollars on his campain if he runs. I am not saying I am for him, but he will get notice running as an independant. If the DEM is Obama, he said he will run.
I also would like to say that this DICK MORRIS guy calling the shots for fox is funny as heck. Do they really thing that we listen to a guy who was caught in a hotel room with a prostitute , wearing a DIAPER, while signing POPEYE THE SAILOR MAN ???? Please
Lastly, I would hope that whoever wins the Presidency would sit down with the generals, and such to be informed about withdrawing troops before they just decide to . To do otherwise would be ILL responsible BIG TIME
I watched the debates last night and what I would like to know is — IN JUST ABOUT EVERY QUESTION, WHY DOES HILLARY BASH PRESIDENT BUSH? He is not running for President again, but she has been the only one who CONTINUOUSLY bashes the President. Others have done the same bash thing — but not as much as her. Also, when asked at the end of the debate if she had to name one thing she would do differently or over or acknowledge a mistake — SHE CAN’T!!! THIS WOMAN REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SHE IS EVER WRONG OR HAS MADE ANY MISTAKES AND SHE’S NOT APOLOGIZED FOR ANYTHING. A LITTLE HUMILITY WOULD SERVE HER GREATLY. THANKS FOR LISTENING (READING).
FOX news is so hypocritical to criticize Clinton and others who dont want to interview with them at their whim, beck and call…but turn around and deny Ron Paul to debate on FOX with the FOUR Republican candidates FOX deems electable on the Republican side. This is so pitifully obvious that FOX as well as other major media want to control the agenda and the political leaders by access. This is a horrendous example of why recent FCC rule changes allowing MORE centralizing of media ownership should be questioned and reversed immediately. We dont need FOX ownership telling us who is and who is not deemed worthy or running for any office in our country. Just report the Goddamn news for once without slanting it to your views.
I just looked at a clip. Will she never change. The way she spoke to Bill was so grade schoolish?? Is that a word? I heard kids in grade school talk in that tone to people. Bill must somehow get under her skin. (I will be 83 on Friday, so you know I have seen a lot of this type of sarcasim). Thank you.
I cannot believe why Bill interviewed Hillary when he was not friendly with the Clintosn????Why on earth a Conservative like Bill should interview her at this stage knowing very well the dirty tricks which Hillary and Bill Clinton play in the Presidential elections. They both have amassed a fortune after Bill Clinton finished his term. They both have lots of baggage in their back yard especially the foundation of Bill Clinton. He only mentions how he did this and that in the 1990s when he was President, how well he crows about everything except his moral experiences etc.He is an unfit and a disgrace to the country.Just imagine if hillary(God forbid) wins,Bill Clinton will run the show at every stage at the White House.never should a Bush or Clinton family be allowed to run terms for more than 8yrs.God save USA.I have been a conservative and shocked that Bill is upto some mischief to promote Hillary at this time to deny Obama’s efforts???I always respected Bill Orielly but not any more.John Macain is better to be President in spite of criticizm from Conservatives.Jimmy
We need a very smart business person to run this country and I beleive Hillary can do this hands down.
