Edwards was right in calling the “big drug corporations” the enemy. Listen up. Free Entreprise if absolute is too simplistic. Free Enterprise can work if anti-monopoly, anti-trust laws were enforced. Atlas Shrugged by Rand is a great lesson in the dangers of big government, et. al. But Rupert Murdock has NOT been stopped, wouldn’t you say? The Big corporations are the Achilles heel of purist Free Enterprise. John Burcher philosophy remains rampant in Mormon church .

I think Edwards has got it right. You should recognize the flaw of too “pat” answer to USA. I am no longer a Libertarian, but neither Clinton nor “W” have leaned on the monopolies in this country. There are too many loop holes. . . just like the IRS

EDWARDS PROBABLY WON’T WIN, BUT I WILL VOTE FOR HIM. CLINTON WAS THE FIRST ONE TO GET CAUGHT PAYING BIG BUCKS FOR HIS HAIRCUT.
The thing I find dispicable about the Clintonsk, was not just the woman chasing–it was that he chose women who had no credibility to defend themselves. My husband & I met while working McClean , Va . and D. C. Believe me when I tell you, Clinton had security information on Monique, every woman in any hotel, any women who might work in any building he was in. He picked and chose women he could ruin, who had no power. Hillary is just as bad for she supported him in it and the two of them used creulty to “lean on” any victim who might come forward and make trouble. Hillary is no fine damsel. She is a Bully. Bill Clinton was even worse.

Many are small guys out here are suffering due to big business. Edwards needs to be heard more from because he understands. He is the only candidate that makes sense. I will vote Edwards and that is what Iowa brought to me. I am a conservative too, but want more than a Baptist charasmatic person in the White House. Mr. Huckabee ought to go back to preaching. That was his calling in life and he needs to stay there. Obama is just on a ride. He is NOT who we need as a President. He thinks and acts like Mr. King himself. I wish America would stop being fooled by emotion and it’s delivery in a speech. I wish America would stop being fooled by charisma and it’s bid for power. I wish America would see true and pure leadership desires and honest concern for the millions out here suffering. Where are those real leaders? Edwards is close.

I am registered republican, but don’t recognize my party anymore. Our country has been taken over by big business, and I see no great benefits that this fact has brought to me as an average citizen—since I am not in the top 1%, or even in the 16% making more than $97,000 per year.

I can no longer listen to the Republican shock jocks, who follow the “party” blindly into the river—like the mice and the pied piper !

I have a brain, and eyes, and I can hear and see the danger- and it is in the form of big business out of control.
And they do it with high interest charge cards, high gas and oil prices, preditory mortgage loans, and denial of services in our healthcare. They talk us into expensive medications we don’t need, and use our trusted physicians to deal them to us. They have lead us into terrible debt at such high interest that few can afford to take a day off to care for a sick family member or aging parent, or would dare to!
We all have a right to the American dream, however we see that dream, and I see mine slipping away.
I don’t want to be owned by a bank! I want to live free.
I don’t want to freeze in the winter or send my son or daughter- or my neighbor’s child into harm’s way so someone else can move from rank of millionnaire to billionnaire.
I don’t want to put my retirement money into the stock market so swindlers can steal it from me.
I don’t want to be killed off by an insurance company so stockholders can make a profit on my death.

I have decided to support John Edwards for president. I love his insight and his resolve.

i mean, i know his message is more anti-corporate than the the others and that the media is owned by those same corporate interests, but COME ON!

I did not ask for 2-for-1 then, nor do I ask for it now. That’s just the life-long Clinton strategy that moves Hillary into a position for which she is not qualified.

Every time Bill moves up (Gov of Arkansas), Hillary moves up with him (Attorney General of Arkansas). Bill moves up again (President of the US); Hillary moves up with him (US Senate). See the pattern, women?

Consider what America got with the first Clinton co-Presidency:

• Abuse of the powers of the office of the President
• Granting Presidential pardons to buy Hillary’s election to the Senate. As a woman who made it on my own, Hillary’s need to ride Bill’s coattails and her sense of entitlement (as in “it’s my turn and Obama should wait his turn”) makes me doubt her capabilities.
• Hillary’s long-suffering marriage to Bill, enabling a lifetime of sexual trysts and trying to contain the Bimbo eruptions, gives me a President without the backbone to stand up to a man. Hillary claims to be tough enough to play with the boys when, in fact, she is unable to leave a cheating husband. How will she stand up to other male leaders who see this in “Mrs.” Clinton and walk all over her?
• Being married to a former President does not make one qualified to be President.
Hillary has less experience in elected office than Barack. She’s held elected office for one Senate term plus one year and has introduced no major legislation during that time. She showed us in the interview about Pakistani elections the extent of her foreign policy experience–she did not know what office the election was for or who was on the ballot! Is this the kind of experience we want in the Oval Office?

I am not a “Hillary hater;” I am an America lover. Please consider very carefully which candidate the Democratic Party puts on the ballot. The future of this country absolutely depends on it.
