Romney: Don’t Touch the Hair!
Governor Romney spoke at the Principal Financial Group in Des Moines today, Iowa’s only Fortune 500 Company. He addressed a threat he had gotten from Governor Mike Huckabee’s campaign manager:
The politics are getting interesting. The polls show it is just neck and neck. Down to a razor wire. Tensions are getting high and comments are being made that are really quite questionable. I saw just yesterday the chairman of Governor Huckabee’s campaign said that he would like to knock my teeth out. My only comment on that is don’t touch the hair.
The crowd roared with laughter, the self-deprecating shot at his trademark hair went over well. Romney will be visiting caucus sites this evening before 7 pm trying to rally supporters in the minutes before decision time.

Ok…what is this article about? I didn’t get any useful information. FOX, what’s up?
Romney rocks!
What’s it about? Why, just what pretty much ALL Fox news coverage is about with regard to the Republican candidate roster, of course. It’s all about which candidates FOX wants to see, rather than the ones WE, THE PEOPLE want to see.
Let’s be frank. If Fox were really putting together NEWS stories, they’d be covering the $19.7M donated by grass-roots American people to the Ron Paul campaign in Q4. Probably the highest total for ANY Republican, and on par with Obama and Clinton for the Democrats.
Remember earlier last year when the main criterion for legitimacy was funding raised? Well, it would seem that that is no longer a valid criterion.
If Paul does well in Iowa, I wonder if Fox News will suddenly invite him to their debate on Jan. 6 in New Hampshire? If not, doesn’t this mean that Fox’ slogan, “We report, You decide” is just so much hogwash? Especially when Paul is polling AHEAD of Thompson, who IS invited to the debate?
Give me a break.
Romney for President!!! VOTE VOTE VOTE
Great line, he didn’t write it, and the joke is a day late.
I will vote for the person who will create jobs. The person who has created jobs, not for the person who tried to take barbecues and furniture in exchange for political favors.
Mitt Romney has and will create successful companies and jobs.
Huck is swirling in corruption and bigotry. judicialwatch.org
The story is lacking substance but it is informative in one way: Ed Rollins, the campaign manager for Huckabee said he wants to kick out Romney’s teeth. This is a good reminder of that and also an interesting contrast. That Huckabee has hired an ex-felon to run his campaign is one thing–that he retains Rollins speaks volumes to how mean spirited the affable looking Huckabee is under the surface. Those who covered Huckabee in Arkansas said the guy has a very nasty mean streak to him–in print he referred to a reporter as Jeffrey Dahmer. Huckabee is affable if you do things his way. If you don’t–your in trouble.
Just returned from my caucus tonight in Scott County Ia Mitt won and Fred was second just thought you’d like to know…
