Hillary’s Pakistan Argument

While her campaign spent much of the last two days seizing on an Obama aide’s comments linking her Iraq vote to the Bhutto assassination, Senator Clinton’s own remarks on Pakistan evolved from Thursday to Friday –  moving from personal remembrances of her meetings with the ex-Pakistani Prime Minister to an indictment of the Bush administration.

In Story City, IA, Clinton said Bhutto’s death “puts a very bright spotlight both on President Musharraf and the leadership of Pakistan, the business elite, the feudal landlords, the military leadership, as well as the failed policies of President Bush.”

“Even after President Musharraf shut down the independent judiciary, suppressed a free press, President Bush was saying he was still a reliable ally. Well the facts are different than that,” she said. “He has failed on two counts, trying to move Pakistan towards a stable democracy, which is what I believe is required, and waging the war against Al Qaeda and the Taliban and their allies.”

While Pakistan has a history of instability, she said, “it is also clear the Bush administration policy of giving Musharraf a blank check has failed”

Recalling her last visit to the region, after which she called on the White House to send a presidential envoy to ease tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Clinton said “Like so much else when dealing with the Bush administration, the answer was no, we’re going to do what we’re going to do.”

She added “I hope in the next year President Bush is still in office he will change direction.”

No Ron Paul in the next debate Fox? No Ron Paul news whatsoever. Just more fabrication, more mainstream media created chaos. At least we no longer look to the news for facts, instead we take it all for what it is, a few CEO’s and a banker.

Who would have thought that the private sector could create welfare jobs better than the federal government. Instead of watching the news, it has become just one long paid-for commercial for whatever your CEO and banker wants.

Thank god the internet showed up when it did. Bring back over-the-air TV, defund the MSM.

Fox news could not take the truth that Ron Paul would have to share to the people. I can not believe they had to go so low!

What have those responses got to do with Hillary’s (aka the Wicked Witch of the East) video? I respect Dr. Paul’s frankness and can appreciate his supporters zeal for his ideals; however, politics is often dirty business - and nobody knows that game better than the Clinton’s. You have got admit, that her make-up and wardrobe people are doing an absolutely world-class job: you can’t even see a hint of the horns under her hair; and the coattails of her pants suit hide the tail very well!

Mark, how old are you? 12? 13? I’m guessing no older than junior high for sure.
“Horns”? “Tail”?
I’m surprised you didn’t use the word “cooties” too.

Evil does exist, my dear, and its persona is running as the female presidential candidate.

The “horns and tail” comment was tongue-in-cheek humor, Jan. I thought it was rather sedate, actually. But you libs have no sense of humor, do you?

I very seriously doubt you even raised an eyebrow when our current President has publicly been referred to as Adolph Hitler, “el Diablo”, Josef Stalin and Mao Tse-tung.

In America, we can freely speak our minds and express our differences (thank God and the American GI). Intelligent dialog and the exchange of real ideas is what democracy is all about.

Being a part of the “Bush Sucks” crowd only serves to alienate those folks who, with all good intentions, wish to be taken seriously, but their narrow-mindedness prevents it.

Mark, I didn’t tell you to shut up.
I said you sounded like a 12- or 13-year-old.

If you think referring to a US Senator with comments about “horns” and “tails” is actually funny, I’ll re-calculate.
Six-years-old?

I have never referred to President Bush with any kind of childish or petty name-calling.

However, I will use my right to free speech to speak out that I believe George W. Bush is the worst US President in my lifetime. The first candidate I ever voted for was Richard M. Nixon, and I contend that Richard M. Nixon was a FAR better President than George W. Bush.

Rather than shut up, Mark, my advice is that you to grow up. “Horns” and “tails” is for babies.

It is easy for her to cut down everyone else, but what is her plan? She failed miserably at healthcare. She would fail at everything else! Plus, I sure in the heck don’t want to have to look at her or listen to her pathetic cackling!
