Obama on why he’s the most electable Democrat in the field

At a rally in Keokuk, Iowa, Senator Barack Obama cited “recent polls” showing that if nominated, he would beat each of the top five Republicans running, should they win their party’s nod. Hoping to woo undecided voters in the crowd, he then explained why his two main opponents in Iowa, Senators Hillary Clinton and John Edwards are not as electable. He was sure to qualify the statement by saying that he understands that in the race for Democratic nominee, “We’re all just trying out for quarterback, but after the election, we’re all gonna be on the same team.”

He made the same arguments in his previous event in Fort Madison, Iowa, but didn’t call his opponents out by name.

Hello Fellow Americans …………….the following blog is brought to you by a legal American blogger and I approve this blogLets send a message this Jan. 08 that we will no longer stand for any senator being paid 1 million dollars for a six year termAnd then when they leave office they do not collect Social Security but there own type of plan that costs us Hundreds of Millions ,I read somewhere that Senator Byrd may collect to the tune of 7 million PLUS and his wife gets 2 Million?Iowa can make this work,Yes folks listen up,IOWA CAN MAKE THIS WORKall we need to do is get one person from every county to vote on this type of question for our platform sent on to the state convention.other state’s will hear of this and also raise it in there own state, and before you know it ,it will be enacted upon1 Million Dollars times 100 senators? you do the Math?now lets add up the travel costs?not only cost of staffers in D C but also in 8 or 10 offices in there home states?and then this elite retirement plan they have?so for six years we spend nearly 1 BILLION DOLLARS for maybe 2 years of work (730 work days) and JUST how much of that will our grandkids pay?now lets add the house of reps pay in there also! And while were at it lets lower our states cost of government ?Now lets all pass the word about this “new form of government “to all the people we know ,like the tv tells us “you tell two friends and they each tell two friends and so on and so on”we are already asking our kids kids to foot the bill of some of our spending today after all “big government” should not mean big fat juicy paychecks !!!!America may become better and stronger for this anyway, with more people serving in government and not these 4 and 5 term folks ,we need fresh face’s and new idea’s .One other thing ,Please have a safe and Happy Holiday this year and try and buy American? I know its hard and all but have you ever thought about buying Used this year? sure it sounds cheap but think about it?American money spent IN American stores that stays in Americaand NOT money spent on new goods that will leave America
