“God Bless Barack Obama!”
When Barack Obama called on 73-year-old Winterset, Iowa, resident, Jerry Triplett, he probably wasn’t thinking he would get what he later called the “highlight” of the day.
Triplett asked the senator about the expensive Baghdad embassy that’s being built, but before the senator could respond, Triplett asked permission to first sing the senator a song.
Without further ado, for your viewing pleasure, here is Triplett’s performance:

Who’d want to follow that act? As the next questioner took the microphone, Obama joked, “You’re not going to dance are you?”
After the town hall, Triplett told reporters he often changes the lyrics of the Irving Berlin song for a variety of different people. But - he is an Obama supporter and doesn’t plan on doing a version for another presidential candidate. Triplett said sometimes he goes to political events dressed as Uncle Sam. “I kind of wish I had today,” he told the gaggle. So do we.

God Bless Barack Obama, indeed!
I see Hillary trying to get back to the White House and think about all the lying, police-state tactics, use of private investigators to gather dirt and wipe out her political opponents, abuse of power, Whitewater, Travelgate, and other scandals of the Clinton White House too numerous to mention. The thought of her at the helm is scary–very scary.
Before you cast your vote, please consider the following about the first Clinton co-presidency:
• The Clintons were more concerned about what they could get from the presidency instead of honoring their responsibilities to this country. At the end of their term they were multi-millionaires. Ever wonder how they got so wealthy?
• Think about how they sold our military secrets, how they exchanged pardons for Puerto Rican votes in New York, freeing some of the worst criminals just so Hillary could have what she thinks she is entitled to. Will our democracy survive another four years of them?
• Hillary loves to play the victim–of Bill, of the Republican vast right-wing conspiracy, of all the Bimbos who sleep with Bill, etc. Can a victim be an effective president?
• Hillary’s long-suffering marriage to Bill, enabling him to have numerous sexual trysts — not just a one-time dalliance with Monica — results in her sense of entitlement. Do we want a president who feels the job is rightfully hers just because she’s suffered through 35 years of marriage to Bill?
• Hillary claims to be tough enough to play with the boys when, in fact, she is unable to leave a cheating husband. How will she stand up to other men who walk all over her?
• Hillary attacks her opponents with lies and innuendo far more than she talks about how she would attempt to cure America’s ills. What is her plan…does she even have one?
• Hillary has no experience. Being married to a president does not make one qualified to be president. As a married woman, I cannot relate to a woman who stays in a sick marriage so she can capitalize on her husband’s success, then pretend she did it on her own. She gives no specifics about her experience. More dodging accountability.
• Fact: She’s held elected office for one Senate term and has introduced no major legislation during that time. Is this the kind of experience we want in the Oval Office?
Hillary is not what she pretends to be. She is spinning her image — the same tactics Bill used on an unsuspecting American people the first time around. We should be smarter than that now. Do we really want them in the White House again?
Cast your vote wisely in 2008.
Barack Obama clearly is the strongest democratic candidate. In the latest zogby poll he beats everyone of the Republican candidates. The support of overwelming independents and the democrat party and some republicans will propel Obama to the White House in ‘09. America is ready for a change in politics and tired of the same politicians fighting the same old battles to a stalemate…Its time for new faces and ideas…
Vote Obama ‘08 “Lets Go Change The World!”
I always find it amusing when I hear/read all the “let’s change the world” proclamations from the left. The irony is that they would take away the very strength and power that has enabled the USA to in fact change much of the world–for the better.
If Barack wins the primary and then the general election, after one full-blown briefing inside the War Room he’ll have quite a revelation. Then we’ll see who changes.

The gentleman who sang the song was simply awesome. I watched it over and over. Each time I got even more excited about Obama and his future presidency. Everyone who hears the Obama song, should not only get more pumped up, but truly inspired by Barack and all he stands for. We have been in the wilderness too long and he is the only one that can lead us out.
OBAMA ALL THE WAY
First off Obama will not get the nomination, the Democrats have already chosen Hillary and they don’t care what the people think, she’s their nomination. Second, Hillary is a fascist; she will take away your rights and violate the constitution, the very same the left claims that Bush has done with no proof to back those claims up.
Do you really think Hillary is going to fight the terrorists and keep America safe? It’s bad enough that if we had a woman president that Al-Qaeda and the rest of the terrorists vermin would be laughing at us, they don’t respect women just look at how they treat theirs. If we are to have a woman president which I would not mind it must be one who fights the terrorists and shows them that there are women with backbone who can lead and fight. Hillary will do nothing to fight the terrorists and we’ll have attacks everyday. Things will be no better than when Bill was in office.
And as far as Obama goes, what does he know? Nothing. I live in Illinois, Obama has only been in office for a short time and has done nothing to better the state. He has never introduced legislation that would get the state out of debt, which is the worst in the country, he has never introduced anything to better the education system but yet everyone still seems to think that he is God. He would run away from the terrorists and try to talk to them, you can’t talk to people who are willing to hijack a plane and crash it into a building or strap a bomb to themselves, you can’t talk with that.
The only reason Oprah supports him is because she’s a racist, she only helps and gives money to blacks, if you donate money it should go to help ALL people, she is only supporting him because he is black and if there were no black candidates Oprah wouldn’t be bothered. I also dislike how Obama tries to win the black vote by talking about how African Americans had to deal with slavery and unequal rights for so long when his mother who is white, and his father an African immigrant who came long after the Civil Rights Act and obviously long after slavery never faced any of that crap, Obama good for America? Please give me a freakin’ break!!!
