They’re out in force today on day 2 of the “Every County Counts” tour of Iowa, making the case that Hillary is the Democrat who can bring change. Senator Clinton was introduced by four people who say she went out of her way to help them — and helped change their lives.

Bonney Campbell, a former DoJ official in the Clinton White House, gushed about Hillary’s fight for human rights; Jeff Volk testified that she helped his family after Hurricane Katrina; Shannon Malozzi said the Senator reached out to her and her hydrocephalic son as a fellow mother; and Hillary’s best friend since 6th grade, Betsy Ebeling, got choked up by Malozzi’s story before telling some funny anecdotes about Hillary’s youth — and stressing just how important it is to elect her.

The strategy? They need to convince Iowans that Hillary is the best candidate to change their lives for the better — and it’s always more convincing to show than tell. To that end, the campaign launched a new website called The Hillary I Know, featuring 35 video testimonials from people who know Sen Clinton and who she’s helped.

“Here in Iowa, I want you to have some flavor of who I am outside the TV cameras, when the lights disappear. What I do when nobody’s listening or taking notes or recording it,” she said. “Because it’s hard in public life to have that sharing experience with thousands of people. So on our 99 county blitz, I’m going to get to as many places as I can, but so are my friends.”
