Cross-Party Endorsement: Lieberman for McCain
Spotted together Sunday night, chatting in the lobby of a Concord, New Hampshire hotel—Senators John McCain and Joe Lieberman.
Lieberman, who calls himself an “Independent Democrat,” will endorse McCain for president at a town hall meeting in Hillsborough, New Hampshire Monday morning.
The two are long-time friends. Both are staunch supporters of the Iraq war, and traveled to Iraq together over Thanksgiving. They also worked together on Kosovo, and Balkans in the 90’s.
A Lieberman aide tells Fox, the Connecticut Senator is not endorsing the Republican Party, just the man. The aide added that McCain has not asked Lieberman to be his running mate.

One never hears the name of Lieberman. Of all the times I’ve heard it in the past two years it came across as out of touch, ornery and dated. I believe it actually hurts McCain… ahhhh America… gotta love it.
Mrrs. McCain and Liberman are the two most principle based politicians that I have come across in a long, long time. They stand up for their core beliefs and do not waiver when it comes to doing what is right versus what is politically expedient. McCain Liberman…..what a great Presidential/Vice Presidential ticket!
